Thanks to Google and Microsoft's efforts with many libraries there were many books scanned and made available via the Internet. Although the project has ended due to copyright concerns. But during this process there have been many dog books from the late 19th century and early 20th century. There were many that contained references to whippets. Love the commercial - who is the whippet?
ReplyDeleteI don't know. But I love it. It's exactly what my whippets do to a slower dog. I like how the Bassett "wins" in the race to the food!
